Nisha Shivnani, Founder of Nisha Dance Center.
An energetic, dynamic and passionate choreographer, dance instructor, and performer. She specializes in Bollywood style and has achieved tremendous success over the past few years.
This creative personality has been teaching since seven years and in her years of experience she has judged, choreographed and performed in school concerts, dance festivals, indian weddings, special events, stage shows and corporate events.
Her training includes bollywood dance, contemporary, belly dance, hip hop, street jazz and rope/aerial dance. She also continues to update her training by travelling and learning different styles such as aerial dance, kathak and Latin to name a few.
The different styles are an influence in her warm-up sessions but she has developed her own style of choreography over the years. She is currently conducting Bollywood dance classes at Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre, Mall of the Emirates.
With her troupe of dancers, she is capable of choreographing and performing for events such as fashion shows, exhibitions, flashmobs, corporate events, product launches,gala dinners and opening ceremonies. She offers performances of various dance styles such as Bollywood dance, tap dance, belly dance, laser dance, acrobatic dance, Iranian dane, egyptian dance, mexican dance, modern dance, latin styles such as ballroom, salsa, tango and samba, turkish dance and spanish dance. She also provides other forms of entertainment for events such as female tables, angels for weddings, musicians, statues and dolls and models for fashion shows.
Together with this, she provides dance workshops for primary/secondary schools and universities, birthday parties, hen parties, charity events and various other events. She has taught and given workshops in many schools including Repton School Dubai, Dubai Gem Private School, Horizon School Dubai, Raffles West Campus Dubai, Raffles South Campus Dubai, JSS School Dubai, Little Wings International Nursery, Star International School Dubai.
She is also willing to travel to perform and teach dance anywhere around the world.
